Where the River meets the Sea | Discover Australian Native Beauty

Held by my surroundings on Darkinjung and Awabakal country.

The still waters of this lagoon is a place of tranquility, tears of the earth, water warm as blood, the nursery of the sea.

A morning where my mind is still and the beauty of life is reflected.

"Avoca" is an Irish name meaning "great estuary" or "where the river meets the sea", inspired by a town  'Vale of Avoca' in County Wicklow, Ireland.

This popular surfing and holiday coastal suburb is located north of Sydney on the Central Coast.

“I saw the first light racing the sun.

Gather in a cup of horizon cloud.

Grow and brim, till at last it spilled like molten lava, over the golden lip, to smear the velvet darkness of the night sky from end to end.”
